Parenting Course This course offers encouragement and support to parents as they bring up their children. It provides the space to think about how to respond to challenging situations. Being together with other parents facing exactly the same issues is a great help. A crèche is offered to enable parents with very small children to attend. There is also lots of work going on with children and young people. The course normally take place several times throughout the year - please contact the Church Office for details of when the next course will be taking place. | Fairtrade | | | Our church actively supports the fair trade movement, which seeks to ensure that producers around the world receive a fair reward for the goods that they produce. We use fairly traded products throughout the church, and provide opportunities for people to purchase items - both through the thrift shop located in Centrepoint, and through a monthly stall help after Sunday worship. |
| Eco-congregation | | | In 2008, BMC was awarded the Eco-congregation award, marking the work that has taken place raising awareness about environmental issues within our church community. The Award is a recognition that our church is taking these issues seriously, and weaving creation care into the life and witness of the church. We put these matters into practice throughout the running of our church facilities. |
| Beacon Counselling | | | Beacon Counselling was formed 24 years ago by local people committed to helping anyone with emotional problems such as depression, bereavement, family and relationship problems, abuse and stress. Over 70 volunteers support this work which is based in Bramhall but serves a much wider area. Our church community actively supports this important and developing work. |
