At every Communion Service we have retiring collections for local and international concerns. This raises approximately £12,000 per annum. In the 25 years that it has been open, our Thrift Shop has raised funds for a huge number of different causes both locally, nationally and internationally. For example iin 2008/09, a total of over £25,000 was donated to different groups, including Bible Society, Cancer Research, Care for the Family, Meadows Offerton, Vision Mozambique and Wood Street Mission, and some larger donations for particular projects at Methodist International House and Methodist Relief and Development Fund as well as for The Mill project in Bramhall.
