Evangelising at Bramhall Methodist Church
Our church is committed to helping people make connections between their lives and God.  We want to provide encouragement for people to explore their own spirituality and the place of Jesus Christ at the heart of life.

We seek to be a Church where newcomers can easily belong and feel comfortable, and know that there’s support for them along their journey.

Start!

Discovering Christianity in six small-group sessions

Start! is a down-to-earth course to help people discover the Christian faith in a small group setting.  It helps us to:

  • Think about our “life direction”
  • Discover more about Jesus
  • Ask questions about the Christian faith
  • Think about how we want to respond.

 Start!

Start! lasts for about an hour each week and runs for six weeks.

The Start Course designed to help people think through the Christian faith.

Newcomers Tea

About twice a year we organise an informal Newcomers Tea to welcome all those who’ve started attending our church in recent months.  These teas are a great way to deepen a sense of belonging and get to know people more deeply.

‘Joining the Church’ Meetings
These gatherings help those who have recently begun attending our church to prepare for church membership.  The course helps attendees to think about their journey of faith so far, and to consider their place within the church, and how they can be effective Christians in the world.  The meetings are held approximately three times each year.
